WE ARE ALL WOLVES

Public Reading
PUMP HOUSE GALLERY

For this second event exploring the impact human beings have had on the environment, the public is invited to join performers on benches in the Old English Garden in Battersea Park, to listen to an intimate reading of the selected texts.

The event will scrutinise our flirtatious, sometimes amorous, and occasionally hateful relationship to nature through a selection of texts by J.G Ballard, Edouard Glissant, Donna Haraway and Ursula Leguin, to name a few. The selection of texts will endeavour to demonstrate the complex range of feelings evoked by nature, and will invite us to consider whether these sentiments might have shaped our environment.

In partnership with Nine Elms, London, this performative reading is part of
Chelsea Fringe, 19 – 27 May.
